Fitbit Review
and
Tory Burch for Fitbit
Pedometers have been around since the dark ages and I’ve never been able to get on board. Having something clip to my pants or pockets or anything of that nature makes me feel like a 60 year old man with his phone holster strapped to his personage.
I saw the Fitbit at my local gymnasium and heard that it links to your phone tracking your steps, calories expended and will even vibrate softly for a morning wake up call. Get your mind out of the gutter! It actually scared me to death when I used it but that fear is a great way to get you out of bed! 😉
Anyhoots I saw it at Costco for a killer deal and decided to take the plunge. The bands aren’t all that fashionable but when paired with lots of bracelets you can hardly tell what it is. It has made me way more aware of how little I move all day well that is unless I go shopping. Check out this lovely daily reading that took place during the Nordstrom sale! That my friends is easily double the number of steps I take on a normal day.
It also links to myfitnesspal.com a fabulous app where you can track what you eat. I think tracking is great for a lot of people. I have a set meal plan so I don’t have to worry about it but when I no longer am I will for sure go back to recording what I eat. It helps to recognize patterns and also helps me make sure I’m getting my micros and macros. Well back to the Fitbit. Word on the screet is the lovely Tory Burch was pairing with Fitbit for something rad. Well behold that day has come and isn’t she a beauty!! Check it out here! It’s on pre-order status now.
