Stila Lip Stain

I woke up feeling like garbage this morning. I could blame myself, I could blame destiny or I could blame a perfectly crafted piece of Hollywood cinema that was orchestrated just thus to lure me in and terrorize me with its addictive greatness that Netflix has available 24/7!  “It’s a web of lies,” I say dramatically, though, it makes no sense in this context.  Hulu and Netflix offer so much and there is such little time! Whhhhyyyyy!!!???

Mingle in weekend of debauchery, a chilly southerly wind, leggings, a cozy sweater, delicious Starbucks soy steamer (not my finest hour), warm boots and you have a laziness storm whose perfection knows no bounds.  I’m sure I looked like a hot mess all weekend, but it was comfortable hot mess and deemed acceptable this time of year. Regardless of my mental and physical state of affairs, I had people to see and things to do, so I departed into the cruel world clad in seasonally appropriate vestiges to meet up with my friend who would turn me onto a glorious lip stain by Stila.

For those who follow me on Insta or Snapchat, you know that lipstick hasn’t always been my cup of cacao and I feel like it doesn’t suit me.  So this lip stain has become my bread and butter when I need to look presentable.  Having said all this, these photos weren’t my best effort.  I may have brushed my hair out, I look pasty from being sick but this is real life people! Sometimes we sleep through alarms, sometimes we stay up late watching horror picture shows; maybe we spill our breakfast on the floor and sometimes we spend an entire week clad only in the soothing confines of leggings.

I use Lushlips for healthy luscious lips and then this stain for a dash of color plus look at all the nastiness it leaves out!
