It’s All About Consistency

So I struggle with consistently working out. I have these rad spurts of dedication that usually end with me being too tired and too sore to function. Case and point.. my hair looks like garbage because I can’t lift up my arms to blow dry it! I’m an all in or all out kind of gal. It’s good and bad. Recently though I’ve decided that even on the days I don’t have that drive or energy to get up and get to the gymnasium that I will at least do something.

Go on a walk. Do 20 push ups. Calf raises in the shower. Honestly the little things add up. If you’re an old fashioned church goer like myself we are taught that small things yield great results. That every call to heaven, good deed and verse read will mold you into a better version of yourself. A more Christ-like version. Well the same goes for taking care of your body. Every little thing ends in a result. That result is the fruit of whatever tree you’re currently climbing. I’m climbing the disease free, symptom free, loads of energy, perfect backside, fitness tree. I kicked my sugar addiction and feel like a rockstar. I started lifting and can do 8 pull ups! I just started small and consistently, working from where I was standing.
